He helps the team to an 8-4 record, while putting up 77 points in 12 games on his way to win rookie of the year. The legend of a few other star athletes begins to grow as well as Kobe Bryant wins his first NBA Title, and Tiger Woods claims his first U.S. Open title. George W. Bush is elected president of the United States, following Bill Clinton and becoming the second president since Junior was drafted.

2001

John Grant Jr. plays his first MLL game with the Rochester Rattlers. During that season the rookie goes on to finish second in the MLL in scoring, earning Offensive Player of the Year and All-Star honors. The first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, is released beginning the Harry Potter craze. Additionally Shrek and Monsters Inc. topped the box office during the year.

2002-04

Junior decides to focus on the indoor game, playing solely in the NLL.

2006
