2023 New Year’s Resolutions for Each PLL Team

With every new year, comes new year’s resolutions. What should each Premier Lacrosse League team’s goal for the new year be? Let’s take a look at some 2023 resolutions for each of the eight PLL clubs.

Atlas LC: Find the Right Head Coach for their Young Core

Ben Rubeor stepped down as head coach and general manager of Atlas LC back in October and the league has yet to name a replacement for him. Assistant Steven Brooks is currently the interim head coach, but there is a lot of uncertainty as to what direction they’re going to go in. Will Brooks get the interim tag removed or will the PLL try to bring in a fresh face like a Joe Spallina?

Rubeor did a fantastic job constructing the current roster through drafts and trades, but the biggest need for them, in my opinion, is at the midfield. This group should get an upgrade in the form of Sam Handley, the projected first overall pick and 6’5” monster from Penn. Handley paired with Bryan Costabile would be a deadly duo in the midfield for years to come. Atlas is going to have the talent next year at every position, but what Atlas needs is the right coach to get this extremely talented roster over the top.
