The Premier Lacrosse League season rolls along into its second week of play. The league will make its way to Charlotte, North Carolina, for another quartet of games.
With four more games to look forward to, here’s one player to watch on all eight teams in this week’s slate of action.
Chrome LC vs. Archers LC
Chrome: Logan Wisnauskas (A)
Chrome defeated Whipsnakes in a close battle, but star attackman Logan Wisnauskas was held quiet through much of the game. The former Tewaaraton winner scored one goal and provided one assist against the Whips.
Head coach Tim Soudan will need Wisnauskas’s sharp shooting and finishing touch against Brett Dobson and a physical Archers defense.
Archers: Mike Sisselberger (FO)
First-round pick Mike Sisselberger had an elite debut against Cannons, but he’ll have his first real test of the season this weekend. Chrome’s Connor Farrell was the third best faceoff man in the league a year ago.
If Sisselberger can cruise against Farrell the way he did against Stephen Kelly and Cannons, the Archers could have a superstar on their hands.
