LSM: Kyle Hartzell, Cannons

By far the biggest surprise on this list is Cannons veteran Kyle Hartzell. The 36-year-old long pole is one of the oldest players in the PLL, but he turned in a strong debut for the Cannons with two caused turnovers.

SSDM: Nakeie Montgomery, Redwoods

Nakeie Montgomery dominated Atlas in transition. The former Duke star dished out three assists and scooped up six ground balls in a breakout performance as a two-way midfielder

Faceoff: Mike Sisselberger, Archers

Nobody made me look stupider in week one than Mike Sisselberger. After I questioned the Archers decision to draft the Lehigh star in the first round, Sisselberger torched Cannons at the stripe. He won 80% of his draws, put up two points and snagged a league-high 14 ground balls.
