Paul Cantabene Joins to Discuss the Pro Lacrosse Hall of Fame and His MLL and MILL/NLL Career (Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast #173)

On this episode of the Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast, Hutton Jackson is joined by one of the newest members of the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame, Paul Cantabene. He discusses his decision to attend Loyola, playing pro box lacrosse in the MILL/NLL with the Baltimore Thunder, Pittsburgh Crossfire, Washington Power and Philadelphia Wings and winning 3 championships in the MLL with the Baltimore Bayhawks and Philadelphia Barrage. He also discusses how being cut by Team USA motivated him to return to the MLL with the Barrage and retire after winning the 2006 MLL Championship, as well as coaching Stevenson University since 2005.

Additionally, Hutton Jackson and Brian Andrews discuss Nick Sakiewicz’s decision to step down as NLL commissioner, recap NLL Week 11 and Week 12, and preview the NLL Week 13 slate.

Pro Lacrosse Talk is the first and only podcast covering all three professional lacrosse leagues (NLL, PLL, Athletes Unlimited). Each week throughout the season, we’ll recap the games, provide analysis on the teams and feature exclusive postgame and off-the-field interviews with professional lacrosse players, coaches and executives.
