The Outlaws trade John Grant Jr. to the Ohio Machine, joining his sixth MLL team. He becomes the first player to score 10 goals in a game, as he helps the Machine clinch a playoff berth in the season finale. Lebron James finally delivers a title to Cleveland, as the Cavaliers claim their first and only NBA Championship. Donald Trump is elected president of the U.S., marking the fourth president since John Grant Jr.’s career began.
2017
After losing in the MLL Championship to Denver 19-18, 42-year old John Grant Jr. announces his retirement from the MLL. The attackman retires as the MLL’s all-time leading scorer. Current Outlaws President Matt Bocklet also announces his retirement.
