4 Late Round PLL Draft Stars to Watch in 2023

Grant Ammann, High Point – D (Cannons, 4th Round)

Cannons needed defensive help in a bad way, but their precarious draft position meant they missed out on the class’s top-end long poles in the first round. However, head coach Brian Holman may have found a hidden gem in the fourth round.

High Point defenseman Grant Ammann was one of the best defensive players in the Atlantic 10 this past season. He led the conference in caused turnovers and was top 10 in ground balls. This was just his second season as a full-time contributor, but Ammann flashed his potential as a defensive playmaker.
