Whipsnakes LC: Find a Faceoff Man for 2023

The Whipsnakes’ biggest blow to their 2023 season outlook came just a couple weeks ago. The Whips have one of the most complete rosters in the league, but there is one glaring spot they need to address: faceoffs. Joe Nardella, the second-team all-pro last year who went 65 percent, tore his ACL during Team USA try-outs. He’s been with the Whips since their first season in 2019, so finding someone to replace him will be a new challenge for Head Coach Jim Stagnitta.
The Whips could try to find a replacement through the draft or could go the free agency route and target someone like Connor Farrell. Finding Nardella’s replacement will be the most important offseason decision for the perennial championship contenders.
