Chaos LC: Enter the Season Healthy and at Full Strength
Chaos has been to back-to-back championship games and their players have played A LOT of lacrosse in the last few years. Many Chaos players play indoors in the National Lacrosse League and there is very little time to recover, if any at all, between the NLL and PLL seasons.
Last season, many members of Chaos played for the Buffalo Bandits and had no offseason after their NLL playoff run ended. Due to the three-week overlap between 2022 NLL and PLL seasons, Chaos was without their core group of guys for the first few weeks last year.
While the overlap this year will be at most one week, it is still imperative that the Chaos core remains healthy. The NLL and PLL are very physically demanding leagues and I think that the biggest goal for the Chaos this year is to take care of their bodies because they play A LOT of lacrosse. While it hasn’t seemed to have stopped Andy Towers and Co. from making three straight PLL Championship appearances, a better regular season could set them up for even more success long-term.
