Rob Pannell, Jesse Bernhardt, Zach Currier and others join the PLL (March, 16, 2020)
The biggest offseason story of 2020 was which MLL players would join the PLL for the 2020 season. Fans got their answer when the PLL announced Rob Pannell would be joining the league. Thirteen other former MLL players joined Pannell in declaring their intent to play in the PLL and were selected by the seven PLL teams in the PLL entry draft on March 16, 2020.
Lacrosse manufacturers aid in COVID-19 relief effort (April 22, 2020)
With the COVID-19 pandemic causing global PPE shortages, many lacrosse manufacturers who faced potentially having to shut down their operations decided to produce PPE and aid in the relief effort. Companies like Pro Athletics, New Balance, ECD Lacrosse and more answered the call and began producing masks and face shields to provide to healthcare workers in need.
