PLL Week 3: Archers vs. Chaos

Location: Columbus, OH
Date: Saturday, June 17 at 12pm ET

PLL Week 3 in Columbus, Ohio might as well be called “Rivalry Week.” We start with the Atlas and Waterdogs, who competed in a one-goal battle for the top seed to end the 2021 regular season, treated fans to an overtime thriller in Denver in 2022 and also met in last year’s quarterfinals. The Cannons and Chrome follow and while this matchup isn’t necessarily a rivalry yet, both teams have played meaningful, often down-to-the-wire games in the past two years. The weekend wraps with one of the biggest rivalries in the league in Redwoods vs. Whipsnakes, even if the rivalry has been a bit one-sided in the Whips favor since the 2019 season.

Yet, the game to watch in Week 3 will be the Chaos vs. Archers. Not only has this matchup been more of a rivalry—with Archers often dominating in the regular season, while Chaos find more success in the playoffs—it now holds even more weight since Mac O’Keefe and Challen Rogers joined the Archers this offseason. The former Chaos midfielders will likely have increased roles on the Archers and we anticipate that this game will be as gripping as every prior game in this series.
