Ned Crotty – Chicago Machine
After scoring a jaw dropping 86 points in his senior season at Duke, Crotty continued to lay claim to best field lacrosse player in the world at the professional level. Crotty scored nearly 300 points in just over 100 games in a career that has included stops in Chicago, Dallas, New York and Rochester. Crotty currently plays for Chrome LC in the PLL.
Michael Kimmel – Chesapeake Bayhawks
Michael Kimmel was another player that carried a highly successful college career in the professional level. Kimmel starred at Johns Hopkins University and spent six seasons in Chesapeake before moving onto the New York Lizards. Kimmel scored 102 points in 55 games on the professional level.
2011
Kevin Crowley – Hamilton Nationals
Kevin Crowley was a star at Stony Brook University, where he became the first player drafted first overall out of the university and only player to go first overall in both the MLL and NLL. Crowley played three seasons in Hamilton before stints with Florida, Charlotte and most recently New York. On May 4, the veteran midfielder was traded to the Philadelphia Barrage and will suit up for the team when the MLL resumes play.
Joel White – Rochester Rattlers
Joel White was selected by the Rochester Rattlers after finishing his career as Syracuses all-time leader in ground balls. White collected 471 ground balls for the Rattlers at the professional level before joining the PLL following the 2018 season. White scooped 54 more ground balls for Chrome LC in the PLL.
