Betting Odds for the PLL Championship Series are released
The PLL announced back in the May that it will allow live betting on its games and now we know the odds for each team to win the Championship Series. The Whipsnakes are currently the favorites to repeat earning the crown with 3-to-1 odds while the Chaos are closely behind with 4-to-1 odds.
PLL announces fan cutouts for Championship Series
The PLL is also giving its fans a way to “attend” the Championship Series. The league announced Thursday that they are selling 500 fan cutouts for the stands. A single cutout will cost 29 dollars while a set of three is 80. Additionally, the PLL has confirmed that dogs can become cutouts, making the Championship Series one pup-ular event.
NLL announces draft order and finalists for its annual awards
The NLL made some major announcements about its 2020 Entry Draft. The league first revealed that seniors returning to college for a fifth year are allowed to get drafted in 2020. This means that Cornell’s Jeff Teat will most likely be the first overall pick. The NLL then announced the draft order with the New York Riptide earning the number one pick. The dates for the draft, though, have not been released, but should come out in the coming weeks.
The NLL also rolled out the red carpet this week to announce the finalists for their annual awards. This included the finalists for all positional awards, Rookie of the Year, Teammate of the Year and more. Most notably, the finalists for MVP are New England’s Callum Crawford, Toronto’s Rob Hellyer and Georgia’s Shane Jackson. The winners for all awards will be announced on Tuesday.
MLL unveils uniforms for 2020 season
We don’t know when the MLL is coming back, but we do know what the teams’ new uniforms will look like. On Monday, the league debuted the 2020 New Balance Shakedown jerseys for each team, made of moisture-absorbing material that is lighter than jerseys in the past. This reveal gave fans their first glimpse at the Connecticut Hammerheads’ and Philadelphia Barrage’s uniforms.
