PLL releases group play matchups

Last week the pro lacrosse community learned that the PLL Championship Series would be held in Utah. This week we learned the group play matchups. Each team will play four games to decide their seed in the single-elimination tournament. Of note, the Waterdogs will face the Chaos, Archers, Atlas and Chrome in their inaugural season in the league.

MLL and NLL announce new partnerships

The MLL and NLL announced new partnerships this week. Powell Lacrosse is now the official equipment and apparel partner of the MLL, while Wave TV struck a content and sales agreement with the NLL.

MLL and PLL players sign new deals

The MLL and PLL re-signed some of their best players. The Chesapeake Bayhawks announced Tuesday that Lyle Thompson signed a new deal. The Denver Outlaws also confirmed that John Grant Jr. will play this summer.

The PLL announced that Connor Farrell, Jake Bernhardt, Mike Chanechuk, Myles Jones and Tim Troutner signed extensions with the PLL. Troutner’s contract was a three-year deal, while Bernhardt, Chanechuk, Farrell and Jones all signed two-year deals.

PLL Waiver Wire

The PLL’s waiver wire was quite the explosion after a silent trade window. The Chrome saw the most movement in their roster, releasing 10 players and claiming six new players.
