PLL Week 5: Players to Watch

Archers: Warren Jeffrey (D)

Nobody has been able to slow down the Redwoods’ attack duo Ryder Garnsey and Rob Pannell. The duo are at the top of the league’s points standings and are coming off a dominant showing last week.

It’ll be up to Archers’ defensive duo Warren Jeffrey and Graeme Hossack to hold the ‘Woods dynamic attack at bay. Jeffrey will likely match up with Garnsey, a seemingly impossible task this season. If Jeffrey can stop Garnsey’s hot run of form, Archers will have a massive leg up Friday night.

Redwoods: Rob Pannell (A)

What will Pannell do for an encore? The former Tewaaraton winner earned PLL Player of the Week honors after a seven-point performance against Chaos in Minnesota. While Garnsey leads the league in scoring, Pannell is right behind him with 18 points.

The Cornell legend is climbing up the all-time leaderboards, and he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Hossack will provide a stiff test, but Pannell is proving capable of dominating like he has for the last decade.
