Chaos LC vs. Cannons LC
Chaos: Brian Minicus (A)
Chaos rookie attackman Brian Minicus led the league in touches during week one, according to Joe Keegan. He was the hub for head coach Andy Towers’ offense in Albany, but reinforcements are on the way.
Over the next few weeks, Dhane Smith, Chris Cloutier, Josh Byrne and Chase Fraser will reintegrate into the offense. Minicus doesn’t seem to be a natural fit with the Bandits, but he showed enough talent to be a future star in the PLL.
Cannons: Matt Kavanagh (A)
Asher Nolting and Marcus Holman both put up five points in the season opener for Cannons. The third member of the attack line — Matt Kavanagh —is also expected to play a big role for this offense.
Kavanagh scored two goals in his Cannons debut, but he turned the ball over three times and struggled to create chances most of the game. Chaos presents a formidable task, and head coach Brian Holman will need Kavanagh at his best to break through.
