Attack

Ryder Garnsey, Redwoods
Nobody had a better opening weekend than Ryder Garnsey. After winning a national championship as an assistant coach at his Alma Mater, Garnsey turned in a career performance for the Redwoods Saturday. He scored six goals, including some ridiculous displays of grit and skill.
Jackson Morrill, Chrome
Jackson Morrill quarterbacked the offense from X, and he looked comfortable doing so. He distributed four assists and didn’t turn the ball over. Morrill also added a goal. While he wasn’t always a consistent contributor in midfield, Morrill looks ready to lead a Chrome attack without Brendan Nichtern.
Cross Ferrara, Chrome
Have a week Cross Ferrara. Fresh off of a Division III championship with Salisbury, Chrome’s fourth round selection made his way to Albany for his first professional game. Ferrara started at attack and made an immediate impact.
He had a pair of assists and a pair of goals. The stats are great, but the rookie showed up when it mattered most. Ferrara took the ball with seconds left in the game, dodged to the middle of the field and scored the game-winner.
