PLL Week 1: Players to Watch

Chaos LC vs. Waterdogs LC

Chaos: Kyle Jackson (A/M)

Chaos will be a work in progress for at least week one while the Buffalo Bandits try to hoist the National Lacrosse League championship. Without key pieces like Dhane Smith and Josh Byrne, Chaos will be a shell of itself.

With all the missing pieces on offense, Kyle Jackson will have to play a bigger role in week one. The former Michigan attackman is the glue guy of Chaos’s offense, and he’ll be asked to lead a group of young players in a championship rematch as the main lefty option on the roster.

Waterdogs: Jack Hannah (M)

Jack Hannah had a strong rookie season a year ago, and he continued that form in the indoor season. The Denver product earned All-Rookie honors in the NLL, and he’s a top candidate to take yet another step forward this season.

While Chaos has a mountain of good long poles, the short-stick midfielders could be exploitable. Hannah will see those matchups, and he has the talent to dominate off the dodge. He could be a standout performer this weekend.
