Fight outlast the Pride in a tough defensive battle

Pride vs Fight

Six different players found the back of the net for the Fight in their Week 1 victory over the Pride. Veterans Katrina Dowd, Kayla Treanor, Kylie Ohlmiller and Taylor Cummings each recorded a goal and an assist to aid in the Fight’s offensive output.

Not to be outdone, the Pride also managed to have all goals scored by different players in the contest. Led by three-time Tewaaraton Award winner Cummings, the Fight recorded seven of 12 draw controls. Despite the loss, the duo of Molly Wolf and Liz Hogan played admirably between the pipes for the Pride, combining to make 11 saves on the day.

The Fight will return to action in Richmond, VA take on the Brave at 5PM ET on June 14. The Pride will follow and seek their first win of the season in a game against the Command at 7:30PM ET on June 15.
