Boston Cannons at Dallas Rattlers
Boston’s offense blasted the Rattlers right away and never looked back. The Cannons went up 7-0 in the first quarter and it looked like they would blow the Rattlers away. They added two more goals in the second quarter including a nifty behind-the-back goal from Kyle Jackson, but the Rattlers put together a three-goal run at the end of the half to make it 9-3.

The Rattlers would get another three goals quickly in the third to make a game of it, but their comeback effort was ultimately stifled when the Cannons scored five of the next six goals. The teams would trade a few goals in the fourth, but the Cannons ultimately road the lead out to a 16-10 victory.
Will Sands set the Cannons’ offense in motion with a career-high six assists and Kyle Jackson lead the scoring with four goals. Mark Cockerton (2G) had a quieter second game than his six-goal performance last week, but that was due in large part to him drawing the Rattlers’ best defenders.
Despite getting off to a slow start, Dallas showed some fight at the end. A few of the lone bright spots for the Rattlers were the first career goals of rookies Jack Curran (3G) and Jake Seau (1G).
