Whipsnakes LC: Will the new offensive pieces fit together?
The Whipsnakes have been the best team in the PLL since the league started in 2019, and that success is built on defense. The Whips formidable group of long poles, gifted short-sticks and a standout goalie have allowed head coach Jim Stagnitta’s group to dominate the league.
Last season, the Whipsnakes had the best defense in the league, but inconsistent offense led to a second-round postseason exit. Stagnitta addressed those issues in the offseason and added Will Manny and Tucker Dordevic to boost the offense.
The Whips have slowly overhauled their offensive personnel over the last few seasons. Standouts like John Haus and Jay Carlson are gone, and a new era is afoot for Stagnitta’s crew. Matt Rambo, Zed Williams and Brad Smith are proven superstars, and now we’ll see if the additions will elevate this offensive unit from good to great.
