Atlas LC: Can Mike Pressler elevate the project?
Ben Rubeor’s rebuild of Atlas Lacrosse Club was an impressive turnaround that has this team set up for success. In three seasons, Rubeor flipped the roster, stacked assets and built a team brimming with young superstars.
Now it’s up to new head coach Mike Pressler to take that foundation and start turning it into wins and championships. His regime is off to a fast start after a promising first draft. The Bulls added a pair of potential cornerstone defensemen in Cornell’s Gavin Adler and Maryland’s Brett Makar.
These strong first steps now turn to the biggest test yet: actual regular season lacrosse. This team is talented enough to win a championship, and we’ll see if Pressler can lead Atlas over the mountaintop.
