4 Late Round PLL Draft Stars to Watch in 2023

Cross Ferrara, Salisbury – A/M (Chrome, 4th Round)

Nobody in this draft class scored more goals in college than Salisbury attackman Cross Ferrara. 362 goals and 473 points sounds like the resume of a first-round lock. However, Ferrara dominated in Division III, allowing him to fly under-the-radar enough for Chrome head coach Tim Soudan to grab him in the fourth round.

Despite playing at a lower level, Ferrara’s talent and production is legitimate. He’s one of the best players in the history of a strong program. Ferrara led the Seagulls to the Division III title in his final season.

He scored 18 goals and dished seven assists in the tournament — including three goals and an assist against Tufts in the 2023 Division III National Championship — to help Salisbury win its 13th title in program history.

Ferrara will have a real chance to break into Chome’s lineup and earn a place at the professional level. His goalscoring and ability to produce points should give him a chance to contribute as a rookie.
